Installing Microsoft 365/Office365

Prerequisites

  1. Logpoint 7.5.0 and later

  2. Microsoft 365 subscription with a tenant admin account and a service user account

  3. Ensure the following URLs are allowed in your network so that Office 365 can connect to them and fetch logs:

To install Microsoft 365/Office365:

  1. Download the .pak file from the Service Desk.

  2. Go to Settings >> System Settings from the navigation bar and click Applications.

  3. Click Import.

  4. Browse to the downloaded .pak file.

  5. Click Upload.

After installing Microsoft 365/Office365, you can find it under Settings >> System Settings >> Plugins.

Uninstalling Microsoft 365/ Office365

You must remove Microsoft 365/Office365 Fetcher configuration before uninstalling Office365.

To remove icrosoft 365/Office365 Fetcher configurations:

  1. Go to Settings >> Configuration from the navigation bar and click Devices.

  2. Click the Add collectors/fetchers (add) icon under Actions of the localhost device.

  3. Click Office365 Fetcher. It lists all the configured fetchers.

  4. Click the Delete (uninstall_icon) icon under Actions.

  5. Click Yes.

To uninstall Microsoft 365/Office365:

  1. Go to Settings >> System Settings from the navigation bar and click Applications.

  2. Click the Uninstall (uninstall_icon) icon from Actions of Office365.

  3. Click Yes.
